It took quite a while, but finally Handball Challenge has made it to the world of social marketing as well. We already got some members on our brand-new Facebook-page, but obviously we hope that a lot more will follow soon. Every member has the great chance to follow our latest news first-hand, videos and pictures are available as well. So if you want to get all breaking news, then you should subscribe right away. After being able to struck a partnership with New York City THC recently and being supported by Füchse Berlin since quite a time, another German club has decided to team up with us in the future. MT Melsungen, which promoted to the first German league in 2005, will give Handball Challenge the great opportunity to present the first mini-game to the audience already prior to its online-release later this month. On March 14th, during the home game of Melsungen against HSV Handball, we will be present with our booth from EURO 2010. Next to cheering their stars on the court, all interested fans will be able to check out our game and try to score some goals themselves. They have to overcome the skills of MT-keeper Mario Kelentric, who will be trying to save the shots as a virtual goalie between the pipes.

Once again two weeks have passed by which means that you can check out Gregor's latest edition of his blog on handball-world.com. Today he is looking at the various areas of the production and the difficulties to produce a video game. In the meantime he talks about the main reasons why there haven't been high quality handball video games so far. In his next blog to be issued on March 9th, he will give inside information about "Handball Challenge - Traininscamp". Enjoy reading!

Last year some Bundesliga clubs and the HBL announced their will to help the US federation to make the sport of handball become more popular in the United States. Since a couple of months were are in talks with the best American team, New York City THC, who hosted a very interesting tournament in January with current and former Bundesliga stars taking part. Now we decided to support the club as a partner and it will be some kind of test to see if our serious games-project "Handball Trainer 3D" will be requested in the United States. The people in charge at New York City THC are also excited about Handball Challenge, since the Americans are crazy about video games - and we will see if that will be the case with handball as well.
